Pricing

What it costs, and when you know it

One fee to find out what is wrong, one written number to fix it, and no clock running quietly in the background.

A tight view of a condenser coil and its fan behind an open toe-kick grille, a brush nozzle entering from the right.
What the visit costs is a flat figure, and it does not move with the value of the cabinet.

The visit

$129

Flat $129 diagnostic, credited toward the repair when you approve the work.

Written estimate before anything is opened up. If you decide not to go ahead, the diagnostic is all you have spent, and the written findings are yours to take to whoever you like.

Why there is no price list

A published repair price would have to assume the fault before anyone has looked at the appliance, and the same symptom — a fresh-food side drifting warm, say — can be a stalled fan or a sealed-system problem an order of magnitude apart in cost. Quoting a figure over the phone would mean quoting the expensive case to be safe, which helps nobody.

So the sequence is fixed instead. You pay one flat fee for a proper diagnosis with the readings written down. You then receive a written estimate that separates parts from labour. You approve it, or you do not, and nothing is opened up in between.

What moves the number

  • Which system the fault is in

An airflow or defrost fault is a different afternoon from a sealed-system repair, and the estimate says which one you are looking at before you agree to anything.

  • What the part costs on the day

Parts are genuine OEM, ordered against the model and serial plate on your own cabinet. We quote the part at what it costs us to buy on the day, not against a list price from a season ago.

  • How the unit is installed

A cabinet that has to come out of a tight opening, or an outdoor unit built into a stone island, takes longer to reach than a freestanding one. That shows in the estimate rather than appearing afterwards.

  • Whether one visit is enough

If a part has to be ordered, the second visit to fit it is part of the quoted repair. You are not charged a second diagnostic for the same fault.

Ponte Vedra Beach $129 diagnostic, credited · 90 days labour, 365 days parts

When we tell you not to spend it

There is a point on every cabinet where the sensible answer is no. A twenty-five-year-old unit with a failed compressor and a condenser that has spent two decades in salt air is a replacement conversation, and we would rather have it before parts are ordered than after. That conversation still costs the diagnostic and nothing more.

After the repair

90 days on labour, 365 days on parts, and genuine OEM parts on every repair. The full terms, including what a warranty visit covers and what counts as a new fault, are set out on the warranty page.

Money questions

What does the first visit cost?
A flat $129 diagnostic. It covers the visit and the diagnosis, and it is credited toward the repair if you approve the work. You get a written estimate before anything is opened up, so the decision is yours with the numbers in front of you.
What is covered after the repair?
90 days on labour and 365 days on parts. Parts are genuine OEM, ordered against the model and serial plate on your own unit rather than a generic cross-reference, because the wrong-but-similar part is the most common reason a repair comes back.
