Terms of service
Plain terms for a plain arrangement: you approve a written number before anything is opened up.

Who you are dealing with
Marsh Tide Appliance Service is an independent appliance repair company working out of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, in St. Johns County. We service Sub-Zero refrigeration and nothing else. These terms apply to any visit we make and any repair we carry out unless something different is written on your estimate.
The diagnostic
Flat $129 diagnostic, credited toward the repair when you approve the work. It buys a proper diagnosis with the readings recorded, and those written findings are yours whether or not you go ahead with us. It is charged per appliance and per visit, and it is payable even if the outcome is a recommendation not to repair.
Estimates and approval
Written estimate before anything is opened up. The estimate separates parts from labour. No panel comes off and no refrigerant is touched before you have approved it. If the appliance turns out to hold a second, unrelated fault, that is described to you as a separate item rather than added silently to the total.
An estimate holds for thirty days. After that a part price may have moved and we would rather re-quote than absorb a difference quietly on either side.
Access and safety
We need to reach the appliance, its grille and its power supply. Where a cabinet has to be drawn out of a tight opening, or an outdoor unit released from stonework, we will tell you before we start what that involves and what the risk to surrounding finishes is. We do not carry out cabinetry, plumbing, electrical or masonry work, and we will not proceed where doing so would mean cutting into somebody else's trade.
Parts
Genuine OEM parts only, ordered against the model and serial plate on your own appliance. Where a part is discontinued and no equivalent from the manufacturer exists, we will say so rather than fit a substitute we cannot warrant. Parts removed from your appliance are disposed of unless you ask for them back at the time of approval.
Payment
The diagnostic is due at the visit. The balance of an approved repair is due on completion of the work, and where a part has to be ordered we may ask for the part cost up front, because a part ordered against one specific serial number cannot simply be returned to stock.
Warranty
90 days on labour, 365 days on parts, and genuine OEM parts on every repair. The full terms — what a warranty visit covers, what counts as a new fault, and how to make a claim — are set out on the warranty page and form part of these terms.
Limits
We are responsible for our own work and for the parts we supply. We are not responsible for food loss, for consequential damage, or for a fault in a system we were not engaged to work on. Where a unit is already corroded, fouled or damaged to a degree that limits what a repair can achieve, that limit is written into the estimate before you approve it, and the repair is judged against that description.
Cancelling
Call (904) 822-9883 as early as you can and there is nothing to pay. If the van has arrived and cannot get access to the appliance, the diagnostic is chargeable, because the visit has happened.
Trademarks and independence
Marsh Tide Appliance Service is an independent appliance repair company. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by Sub-Zero or its parent company. All brand names and model numbers are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the appliances we service.
We name Sub-Zero on this site only to say which appliances we work on. We do not use manufacturer logos, typefaces or colour schemes, and nothing here should be read as suggesting that Sub-Zero or Sub-Zero Group, Inc. has appointed, approved or endorsed this company.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Florida, and any dispute belongs in the courts of St. Johns County, Florida.
Questions about these terms
