Warranty
What is covered after we leave
90 days on labour, 365 days on parts, and genuine OEM parts on every repair.

- Labour
- 90 days
- Parts
- 365 days
- Parts policy
- Genuine OEM parts
Why the two terms are different lengths
They cover different risks. Labour is our work, and if a repair was going to be wrong it shows within weeks rather than months, so a window of 90 days is an honest one. A component is a manufactured object with its own failure curve, so the part carries the longer term of 365 days. Both start on the date printed on your invoice, not on the date you notice something.
Why the parts are OEM
Every part we fit is ordered against the model and serial plate inside your own cabinet. Fan motors, defrost components, gaskets and control boards vary by series and by production run, and the wrong-but-similar part is the single most common reason a repair comes back. A pattern part that is close enough to install is not close enough to warrant, so we do not fit one.
Covered
- Labour on the repair we carried out, for 90 days from the date on your invoice.
- The part we fitted, for 365 days from the same date.
- A return visit for the same fault, at no further diagnostic charge.
- Refitting or replacing a part that fails within its term, including the labour to do it.
Not covered
- A different fault in a different system, which is a new diagnosis rather than a warranty visit.
- Damage from a power event, a flood, or an impact after we left the house.
- Corrosion or internal fouling that was already advanced when we arrived and was described in the estimate as a known limit on the repair.
- Work done to the appliance by somebody else in the meantime.
- Consumable items — water filters and light bulbs among them — which wear rather than fail.
How to make a claim
Call (904) 822-9883 and say it is a warranty call. Have the invoice date and the model and serial number to hand, because they are what ties the visit to the part. If the fault is the one we repaired and it is inside its term, the visit costs nothing — there is no diagnostic fee on a return for the same fault.
If it turns out to be a genuinely different fault, we will say so before doing anything, and the normal $129 diagnostic applies to that one. You will hear which of the two it is before any charge exists.
Sealed-system work
EPA Section 608 certification covers the safe handling and recovery of the sealed-system refrigerant in your appliance. That work is carried out by EPA Section 608 certified technicians, and it carries the same terms as any other repair we do.
What this warranty is not
It is ours, not the manufacturer's. We are an independent repair company, so this is a promise from us about our own work and the parts we supply. It does not extend, replace or interact with any coverage your appliance may still hold from Sub-Zero or its parent company, and nothing on this page should be read as an undertaking by them.
